BODY SCULPTING

Women's bodies have special needs. Genetics, hormones, and pregnancies all contribute to the challenges of maintaining a youthful body contour. As always, we believe you should manage your body shape with proper nutrition, exercise, and nonsurgical methods first. But sometimes proper diet and exercise are just not enough. If this describes your situation, liposuction or abdominoplasty may be the solution.

In cases where surgical procedures are appropriate, we recommend the simplest, safest procedure possible—whether liposuction, abdominoplasty, or some other procedure.

Liposuction / liposculpture

Liposuction is a tool for body contouring and is particularly suited to removal of excess fat from the abdomen, flanks, thighs, hips, and buttocks. Over the past quarter century, liposuction has evolved to become a precise and sophisticated technique with minimal complications. We use the latest techniques and tools available to improve results and reduce risks, including MicroAire PAL® and VASER® systems. Used properly, these can deliver wonderful results. [back to top]

Abdominoplasty

Skin is remarkably elastic, but sometimes after losing weight or after pregnancy, excess skin remains. No amount of dieting or exercise can remove this excess. In these cases, abdominoplasty is indicated. Abdominoplasty is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen. This can be combined with liposculpture for more dramatic results. Other

As always, the objectives of surgery are to achieve a natural result that cannot be accomplished with nonsurgical techniques, and to minimize scarring, reduce post-operative recovery time, and reduce discoloration, swelling and discomfort during the post-operative period.

We perform all surgeries in accreditied surgicenters, in collaboration with a board-certified anesthesiologist.
